Kristina Bengtson, a Usui Reiki Master, is a lifelong student of spirituality, psychology, holistic health, and animal consciousness. She graduated with a degree in anthropology from the University of Southern California, where she wrote an ethnography on healing and human/animal interaction.

Kristina was introduced to Reiki in 2002 while going through her own deep healing and recovery process. She established her Reiki practice in 2004 and supports others as they access their ability to heal themselves and find their authentic path in life.
Kristina has utilized various tools in healing: acupuncture, nutrition, yoga, chiropractic, meditation, and psychotherapy. Her spiritual teachers include two Sikh gurus, a shaman, and a Himalayan Monk. She has studied Reiki with Usui and Karuna Reiki Master Miranda Barrett, author of The Food of Life, and Usui Reiki Master Kathleen Prasad, co-author of Animal Reiki.

Kristina’s professional experience with healing began in 1995 as a coach and mentor for addicts and their families. Her work with children has included being a caregiver for children whose mother had just passed, as well as designing and implementing a curriculum as a homeschool teacher while traveling with a family abroad. She worked professionally with three horse trainers and owned and operated a successful pet-sitting business. Kristina also served as the program manager of a mental health clinic.
